If baking in my oven, what temp and for how long?

WWSuzi said...

I would say the same but check it after 15 minutes.

What temperature do I set my oven to?
Thank you!

Depending on your oven. My tends to be higher than most ovens so I'd cook it at 350. Hey you can also leave it in a couple extra minutes if you have to :)

Thank you so much! It looks delicious!

When you say oatmeal is that cooked oatmeal, instant or regular? Thanks.

Uncooked I use quick oats

Wouldn't you also need to count points for the uncooked oatmeal used in the recipe? It's not a power food until cooked as breakfast oatmeal (to prevent people from baking with oatmeal as I understand it). That's why uncooked oatmeal doesn't have a triangle by it.

I have always counted oatmeal as SF it is baked which means cooked and as long as I'm losing I'll do it that way.

Can this be baked the night before an reheated in the morning??

WWSuzi said...

Definitely it can even be eaten cold :)

That makes sense. Just thought to point out that WW doesn't consider it SF used this way, for others to consider if they want to count or not. That's why you don't see them use it in SF dessert recipes on their site.

I would probably count it myself, since WW states using it dry for baking is not SF. But clearly it's working for you! :)

I love this! I have it for breakfast a couple times a week and it is the only time that I'm not looking for lunch a couple hours later. I can go from 8 til 2 with this. Thanks!
